Data Acquisition

Data acquisition, often referred to as data acquisition DAQ, is the process of sampling signals that measure real world physical parameters over time and storing the signals as digital numeric values that can be viewed and analysed in real time on a computer. A data acquisition system is often abbreviated as DAQ or DAS. A Data acquisition system consists of sensors, signal conditioning circuitry including filters and isolation, analogue to digital converters and data storage, and may also include visual displays. Strainsense offers modular data acquisition systems and devices for control and measurement applications both in laboratory settings and mobile environments, as well as power analyzers for precise electrical power measurements. These data acquisition DAQ systems are ideal for both laboratory and mobile applications, providing versatility across different testing scenarios. All DAQ hardware systems consist of chassis and modules tailored to various applications. Input modules are based on specific needs and are available for voltage, high voltage, current, bridge, IEPE, resistance, counter, digital IO and GPS signals and databuses including CAN, ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553. USB, LAN and high speed video cameras can also be integrated into these systems. Devices are offered with or without a built-in display, ensuring flexibility based on user requirements. All systems are supplied with intuitive, powerful analysis software designed to enhance user capability to learn and conduct sophisticated analyses effortlessly. Moreover, Strainsense provides support through hardware and software training sessions to help customers maximize the use of their products. Modular signal conditioning and data loggers are also key components of our comprehensive sensor-based product portfolio, crafted to meet diverse client needs across a host of applications.
